How to Join a Committee or Board Meeting
Effective immediately, the public will be able to view the District’s Committee and Board Meetings on YouTube. The livestream link can be viewed from the District’s YouTube Channel.
You may also join a Committee or Board Meeting by phone by calling (415) 569-6446.
Please note that members of the public will not be shown on video and the livestream will have a 20-30 second delay from the phone connection.
How to Provide Public Comment in a Committee or Board Meeting
Public comment during meetings will only be accepted via phone. To provide public comment during a Committee or Board Meeting, call (415) 569-6446 and note the instructions below.

How to View Livestream Online and Comment
- On the day of the meeting, please visit, https://www.youtube.com/user/goldengatedistrict to view the livestream for the appropriate meeting.
- Meeting documents can be found here.
- You do not need any log in credentials to view the meeting.
- If you want to speak on items on any agenda, please call (415) 569-6446 before the start of the meeting and inform the facilitator which item you would like to comment on. If possible, please call in 5-10 minutes before the start of the first meeting.
- You can remain on the line to listen for the Committee Chair/President to call upon you to speak. If you are streaming via the YouTube link, mute audio on your livestream device or any other audio device before speaking. Using multiple devices can cause an audio feedback.
- When called upon, unmute yourself by pressing ** (star, star) to unmute your line. Each individual will be allotted up to three (3) minutes. If necessary, said times may be adjusted to accommodate more speakers.
- After the comment has been given, your phone line will be muted.

- When the Committee Chair/President calls for the item on which you wish to speak, you will be introduced to speak. Mute all other audio before speaking. Using multiple devices can cause an audio feedback.
- When called upon, unmute yourself by pressing ** (star, star) to unmute your line.
