Current Service Impacts
FOURTH OF JULY PARADE DETOURS / SERVICE IMPACTS, SATURDAY, JULY 4, 2009
On Saturday, July 4, several Golden Gate Transit bus routes will operate on a temporary detour due to 4th of July Parades in several cities. Specifically:

Sausalito: From 9:30am to 11:30am, GGT Routes 10, 22 and 66 will NOT serve any Sausalito bus stops. During this time, Route 10 will operate between the Golden Gate Bridge Toll Plaza and Marin City (and serve the Spencer Ave bus pad stops); Route 22 will originate from (northbound trips) and terminate at (southbound trips) Marin City; and Route 66 will originate at Pohono St stop (westbound) and terminate at Marin City (eastbound).

Corte Madera: From 8am and 2:30pm, GGT Route 22 will NOT operate through Corte Madera or Larkspur. Northbound bus stops that will NOT be served include Paradise Drive at US Hwy 101 Overpass, Tamalpais Dr & Madera Blvd, Tamalpais Dr & Eastman Ave, Redwood Ave &Montecito Dr, Magnolia Ave & Alexander Ave, Magnolia Ave & Madrone Ave and Magnolia Ave & Ward Street. Southbound bus stops that will NOT be served include Magnolia Ave & Bon Air Rd, Magnolia Ave & Ward Street, Magnolia Ave & Madrone Ave, Magnolia Ave & Park Way, Redwood Ave & Montecito Dr, Tamalpais Dr & Eastman Ave, Tamalpais Dr & Meadowsweet Dr and Tamalpais Dr & Sanford Street. Buses will serve the Paradise Drive and Lucky Drive bus pad stops in both the southbound and northbound directions.
MARIN COUNTY FAIR, CIVIC CENTER AREA, SAN RAFAEL, WEDNESDAY-SUNDAY, JULY 1-5, 2009
From Wednesday to Sunday, July 1-5, Golden Gate Transit Routes 45, 45K, 49 and 75 will operate on a detour around portions of the Civic Center area due to the the Marin County Fair. During these 5 days, the bus stop at Civic Center Dr & North San Pedro Road (at the Civic Center Post Office) will NOT be served by these routes (it WILL be served by the FREE Fair Shuttle that will operate hourly between the San Rafael Transit Center, the Fairgrounds and the Smith Ranch Rd Park & Ride). Customers are directed to the stop under the Civic Center Hall of Justice Arch.
MIWOK PARK AREA, NOVATO, BEGINNING JULY 1, 2009
Beginning July 1, Golden Gate Transit Routes 51 (northbound), 54 (northbound) and 56 (southbound) will NOT serve the bus stop at Novato Blvd & Eucalyptus Ave due to construction. Customers are directed to nearby stops at Novato Blvd & Oliva Dr or San Marin Dr & San Carlos Way.
LOS RANCHITOS ROAD, SAN RAFAEL, BEGINNING JUNE 8, 2009
Beginning Monday, June 8, the northbound lane of Los Ranchitos Road between Lincoln Ave and North San Pedro Road will be closed to traffic due to construction (southbound traffic will NOT be affected). Until further notice, Golden Gate Transit Routes 45 and 45K will NOT serve the northbound bus stop at North San Pedro Rd & Merrydale Rd. Customer are directed to the nearest stop located at Civic Center Dr & North San Pedro Rd (by the Civic Center Post Office).
CIVIC CENTER AREA, SAN FRANCISCO, WEEKENDS BEGINNING JUNE 6, 2009
Beginning Saturday, June 6 and continuing on weekends until further notice, Golden Gate Transit Routes 10, 70 and 80 will NOT serve the northbound bus stop at 7th & Market Streets due to construction. Customers are directed to the nearby northbound boarding stop at McAllister & Hyde. NOTE: This is a weekend-only bus stop closure.
THURSDAY FARMERS MARKET, DOWNTOWN SAN RAFAEL, EVERY THURSDAY, APRIL-SEPTEMBER 2009
Beginning Thursday, April 2 and continuing every Thursday through September 24, from 4pm thru 10pm, Golden Gate Transit Route 22, 23, 26 and 27 will operate on a detour in downtown San Rafael due to the Thursday Farmers Market. During this time, the stop at 4th & Court Streets will not be served. Passengers are directed to nearby stops at 4th & C Streets or 3rd & Hetherton (San Rafael Transit Center).
