Transfer/Fare Credit Options With Other Transit Systems

Muni (San Francisco Municipal Transportation Authority) Clipper customers transferring from Golden Gate Transit/Ferry to Muni receive a $0.50 transfer credit for adult fares paid to Muni (adult customers paying with e-cash only). Transfer must be made within two hours of first tagging card on GGT or GGF. No transfer credit given to youth, seniors, and persons with disabilities, or Muni Monthly Pass or cash-paying customers.

Clipper customers transferring from Muni to GGT or GGF receive a $0.50 Clipper transfer credit for adult fares paid to GGT/GGF. Youth, seniors, and persons with disabilities receive a $0.25 transfer credit provide they pay with Clipper. Transfer must be made within two hours of first tagging card on Muni. No transfer credit given for cash-paying customers.

AC Transit accepts GGT transfers from Routes 40/42 as full payment of local fare for continuing local travel on the first AC Transit bus boarded in the East Bay. GGT accepts AC Transit interagency vouchers and day passes for a $2.10 adult fare credit ($1.05 senior/disabled/youth) on Routes 40/42.

Marin Transit Community Shuttle Routes 219, 228, 233, 251, 257, and 259 accept GGT transfers for free continuing travel within Marin County. GGT accepts transfers from Community Shuttles for $2.00 adult local fare credit ($1.00 youth/senior/disabled). To travel outside Marin County, pay the full regional fare on the Community Shuttle and receive a GGT transfer.

Petaluma Transit accepts GGT transfers for a $1.00 adult fare credit ($0.50 senior or disabled). GGT accepts Petaluma Transit transfers for a $1.00 adult fare credit ($0.50 senior/disabled/youth) for continuing travel to all points.

Santa Rosa CityBus accepts GGT transfers for a $1.25 adult fare credit ($0.60 senior or disabled). GGT accepts Santa Rosa CityBus transfers for a $1.00 adult fare credit ($0.50 senior/disabled/youth) for continuing travel to all points.

SolTrans accepts GGT transfers from Routes 40/42 at the El Cerrito del Norte BART Station for a $1.75 adult ($1.50 youth, $0.85 senior/disabled) fare credit for travel to Solano County. GGT accepts SolTrans transfers at the El Cerrito del Norte BART Station for a $2.10 adult fare credit ($1.05 senior/disabled/youth) for continuing travel on Routes 40/42.

Sonoma County Transit accepts GGT transfers for a $1.25 Zone 1 adult fare credit ($0.60 senior or disabled). GGT accepts Sonoma County transfers for a $1.00 adult fare credit ($0.50 senior/disabled/youth) for continuing travel to all points.

Stagecoach (West Marin) accepts GGT transfers for free continuing travel within Marin County. GGT accepts Stagecoach transfers for a $2.00 adult local fare credit ($1.00 senior/disabled/youth). To travel outside Marin County, pay the full regional fare on the Stagecoach and receive a GGT transfer.

WestCAT accepts GGT transfers from Routes 40/42 at the El Cerrito del Norte BART Station for a $0.75 adult/youth fare credit ($0.25 senior/disabled) for travel within Western Contra Costa County. GGT accepts WestCAT transfers at the El Cerrito del Norte BART Station for a $2.10 adult fare credit ($1.05 senior/disabled/youth) for travel on Routes 40/42.
