Ride Value and Frequent Rider Discount Ticket Books
Ride Value Discount Ticket Books provide a 20% discount off the adult cash fare for intercounty (between counties) bus trips. Frequent Rider Ticket Books allow ferry customers to ride the Sausalito Ferry for $4.00 per trip and the Larkspur Ferry for $4.70 per trip. Each Ticket Book contains 20 tickets and is valid for up to six months. "Ride Value" refers to the one-way adult cash fare for an intercounty zone-to-zone trip. GGT's service area is divided into geographic fare zones. Fare zones provide the means for determining fare based on distance traveled and cost of service. Ticket Books are nonrefundable and not exchangeable. Customers can get these same discounts when using TransLink.

Two types of ticket books are available for travel exclusively within Marin County (Marin) and are NOT part of the Ride Value Discount Ticket Book Program or the Frequent Rider Ticket Book Program. Cash may NOT be used in conjunction with these Marin ticket book programs to continue travel beyond Marin, as they are for use within Marin only. The two types of ticket books are as follows:
The "Marin Local Ticket book" offers a 10% discount for adults traveling within Marin and sells for $36 for a book of 20 tickets and $18 for a book of 10 tickets.
The "Youth Ticket Book" provides a 50% discount off the adult cash fare for youth ages 6 through 18 traveling only within Marin and sells for $20 for a book of 20 tickets.
